Paraffin Treatment - Warm paraffin wax is brushed over the body.
The liquid wax coats the skin and, as it solidifies, forms a vacuum
that causes any dirt in the pores to be drawn out, removes dead
skin, and induces a loss of body fluid in the form of perspiration.
The deep heat created by this treatment helps to relieve stress
and promote relaxation. Treatments leave the skin silky-smooth.
Pedicure - Mail care and treatment of the feet. Includes soaking
feet in warm soapy water and removing dry skin with a pumice stone
or a special razor. Also includes a foot and leg massage and concludes
with polishing of nails, if desired.
Pilates - Strength training movements involving co-ordinated breathing
techniques developed in Germany by Dr Joseph Pilates during the
1920's. Power Yoga - Form of yoga with an accelerated succession
of yoga body postures.
