Our bodies are made up of muscle and bones vital organs and an active container called skin. For our bodies to function at their best we need to make sure that the muscles and skeletal structure of our bodies is capable of supporting all of the other components.

Regular Exercise
Regular exercise stimulates our muscles to grow in strength, which in turn requires an increased blood supply, which stimulates our circulation system and increases our metabolic rate, the rate at which we use up the calories in our diet. By having stronger muscles we can avoid posture related problems and improve our stamina.

Also by exercising frequently we will improve our sleep patterns and reduce the build up of stress.

A balanced exercise programme is a vital part of any health and beauty regime, but finding time in a busy lifestyle to exercise regularly can be a problem. The secret is to find a form of exercise you really enjoy. That way you will look forward to your exercise session and make time for it.

Why Exercise?
Regular exercise can:

Strengthen muscle and keep joints flexible.

Burn calories and increase metabolic rate, helping the body to reach and maintain optimal weight.

Increase bone density and protect against osteoporosis (brittle bone disease).

Promote healthy sleep patterns and combat insomnia.

Help lower cholesterol levels in the body.

For those individuals where the gym is not the answer then personal training, Pilates and Yoga can provide alternative ways to promote your personal fitness.
